Reiki
REI
means Universal
KI means Life Force Energy in Japan, named in India
as Prana and in China as Chi.
| Reiki
is most often described as a light vibration
or energy, and Reiki practitioners are said
to "channel" it from the universe.
The most obvious energy we receive from the
sun is sunlight. However, we do not see the
whole range of rays contained within sunlight
that are known as the "electromagnetic
light spectrum". This spectrum contains
visible light, radio waves, short waves, microwaves,
x-rays, infra-red, ultra violet, gamma rays
and cosmic rays and probably others which have
been yet discovered or studied by scientists.
Reiki might be one of them. |
 |
This
electromagnetic spectrum of light bombards earth day
and night. Our brains has the ability to filter out
or accept and use these very fine vibrations which
cannot be seen or heard. The eyes and the sunlight
are the tools to collect information but it is proved
that many Reiki practitioners have the experience
of receiving profound and relevant
information during Reiki treatments.
Reiki,
combining the vibrations of light waves of the universe
and the life force energy (what we breath, eat and
drink) enables the body to relax and heal, and the
mind to become peaceful. Although there are other
methods (Tai Chi, Qi Kong) which utilize the life
force energy, Reiki appears to be the only method
which
consistently, effortlessly and effectively enables
us to use it with the spiritual energy.
We
will now list all the effects Reiki can have:
REIKI
supports the body's natural ability to heal itself
REIKI vitalizes both body and soul
REIKI re-establishes spiritual equilibrium and mental
well-being
REIKI functions on all levels, whether mental or spiritual,
bodily or emotional
REIKI balances the body's energies
REIKI loosens up blocked energy and promotes a state
of total relaxation
REIKI cleanses the body of poisons
REIKI adjusts itself according to the needs of the
recipient
REIKI works with animals and plants and
REIKI is an extremely pleasant, holistic method of
healing
Very
receptive people often experience Reiki as love. Love
is a uniting power which leads us forward to an even
greater state of oneness with the whole of creation.
To
practice Reiki, no special kind of faith or belief
is required. It is used with the same success by people
of many faiths and religions, by free thinkers as
well as by the followers of widely differing philosophies
and ideologies.
The
treatments
When
we treat someone with Reiki, we do this by laying
our hands gently on the various parts of the body.
We will soon feel a kind of floating sensation, often
combined with a sensation of warmth, which can turn
into heat or become quite cold. The patient will often
feel the flowing noticeable as we do, as well as the
sensation of hot and cold. Most Reiki patients begin
to relax during treatment and may even fall asleep,
but this won't make any difference in the effects
of treatment.
 |
On other occasions, old and unresolved experiences
may become conscious again. A release of emotions
can occur and tears will flow or a laugh of
relief will be released. Although we lay our
hands on the patient's body in order to link
him to the energy of Reiki, it won't merely
affect him on the material plane but will involve
him in its entity of mind, body and spirit.
Body illness or weakness is only the physical
expression of a lack of a basic order, a sign
of having fallen out of a state of inner union
with all life. |
When
someone is treated with Reiki, he is brought back
into a state of unity with the harmony of the universe.
This harmony which is able to reach him in his smallest
cells, makes him whole and healthy again, thus encouraging
the natural ability of the patient to heal himself.
Afterwards we feel happy and physically and spiritually
balanced.
We
would also like to mention here that treatment with
Reiki can result in the appearance of a slight or
more vehement detoxification symptom on the physical
level.
These symptoms are to
be regarded as a biologically sensible means of self-regulation.
They generally take on the form of increased evacuation
of the bowels and bladder and increased mucus secretion
in the upper respiratory passages, while a burning
watering of the eyes can also occur. Sometimes the
ears and skin will exude an increased amount of poisons
and waste of products. A short attack of fever or
a temporary return of an earlier illness is also possible.
These
occurrences are to be regarded as a valuable means
of recovering bodily health and not as a return of
illness, representing as they do an absolutely natural
cleansing mechanism. These reactions only last a short
time and the patient will generally feel all the better
for them. They are similar to those symptoms which
are known to occur after a long
period of fasting.
"The
best methods are those which help the life
energy to resume its inner work of healing"

My
arrival in India 5 years ago was as well a big
change in my life.First I was very happy to
find in Kullu valley my house where I since
live and enjoy the space and the tranquility
of the surroundings. Then the meeting
with different Tibetan masters confirmed my
determination to develop yoga studies I had
started in Europe. Extensive contemplation on
their teachings in the space of Mother Nature
created a new opening into life and its experiences. I
met different Reiki Masters (Hindu and European)
who taught me channeling this extraordinary
vital Reiki Energy, Healing then took the dimension
in my life that I was looking for. |

I
am happy to be part of the center in the sense that
we are all working towards a better way of life reachable
by curing our chronic habitual tendencies and by emphasizing
more into relaxation. I feel it is now time to share
it with simplicity and honesty with other companions
also interested in their physical, mental health.
