Camping Trips

Camping Trips
In the vicinity of our center in Karjan are numerous camping places up in the mountains. We offer camping trips to those places high above the valley with superb views and a special feeling of remoteness. It is possible to camp there for a few days or even weeks while food and other supplies are ferried up by horse and prepared for you by our staff. Groups can book this with us.
Such a camp in the Himalayas is the perfect opportunity for focusing on any program that a group has in mind such as yoga, meditation or other interests. You can create your own program while we will take care of the material framework that will keep your camp up and running smoothly. Youth groups are especially welcome. We can also assist with cultural exchange, sightseeing and other side-programs. Please contact us under admin@buddhasland.org
The program for camps consists of the transfer from Delhi airport into the Kullu valley. The group will stay in local accommodation in Karjan and explore the local sights of the valley as well as get a feel for the local Himalayan culture (3 days). The actual camp will then take place for a period of 5 to 6 days. On the way back the group can choose to visit either, Daramshala, Rishikesh or the Taj Mahal. The whole program from arrival in Delhi to departure from there will take 12 days.

Family Adventure Camp

This camp offers a relaxed and active time for families. It is aimed at parents with kids between 6 to 15 years. Throughout the camp we will offer a range of activities ranging from yoga exercises, walks in the mountains, group games and snow-walks as well as abseiling. We also offer a culture program with participation of local Indian friends.

Active Trekking

In this camp we combine daily walks with a morning program of yoga, breathing exercises and self-massage. In the afternoons we offer a course in foot-reflexology. This combination helps to create a sense of well-being that will give depths to the daily walks.
